The Smoker Who Stole the Scene

The Smoker Who Stole the Scene

My wanderings in Kyoto led me to what appeared to be a smoking area on a pedestrian street crowded with food stalls.

This little enclave, discreetly set against a backdrop of everyday life, was filled with its own stories. Each person, whether immersed in reflection or engaged with their phones, added depth to the scene.

The area's rich tapestry of old and new architecture only heightened the intrigue. Upon photographing this scene, one of the smokers made eye contact and posed, giving a personal touch to the photo.

This moment captured the quiet, communal essence typical of such urban retreats.
